Our Philosophy

At Farm & Coast we try and stock as many different cheeses as we possibly can. What has been surprising, in our constant search for new and delicious cheeses, is how many wonderful ones are made right here in New England. Western Massachusetts, Vermont, and nearby New York State are just brimming with top-quality cheesemakers.  Blues, goat, sheep, stinky and triple cream — you name it and New England makes it!

We specialize in the finest local offerings, as well as a selection of cheeses from around the world; we’re always happy to fulfill requests and recommendations, and ready to help you choose what will star at your next event – and we’re always happy to slice to your specifications. Ask about pairing our cheeses with wines and food, and consider a unique cheese board made to order, with or without our house-made charcuterie.
